We got away a bit lighter than anticipated; the worst of the storm in the early morning of Monday 28th October just edged a little to the north of us, but still enough to bring down several trees, including sadly one of the old chestnuts on the Avenue, as well as many more branches. On Hampstead Heath 100 trees were lost.
